The Grosvenor Pulford Hotel & Spa has received a Silver Award and retained its four star Quality In Tourism status following an inspection from VisitEngland.
The Silver Award represents a property that has received top scores in all assessed categories and consistently excels in hospitality and service. Following a rigorous overnight inspection, VisitEngland confirmed that the Grosvenor Pulford Hotel & Spa was worthy of a Silver Award and offered the “best of the best”.
The inspector’s report commented: “Everyone at the Grosvenor Pulford Hotel & Spa is to be congratulated for this achievement. It was good to see the hotel so busy on the night of the assessment. High quality standards were consistently noted in the accommodation, housekeeping, service and food served, which was credit to the whole team at the hotel.”
Many features scored highly in the report, including the hotel’s recently and lavishly refurbished reception area, which was noted as being impressively spacious. The oriental garden was a particular highlight, as were the excellent displays of flowers presented throughout the hotel. The modernised bedrooms and attentive service were also worthy of merit.
Commenting on receiving the Silver Award, Lucy Nelson, Sales & Marketing Director for the hotel’s parent group, Nelson Hotels, said: “We are delighted by the results of this recent inspection and I congratulate everyone here for their commitment and efforts in delivering an outstanding service. VisitEngland is a renowned, trusted and established quality rating scheme, which is why we are so thrilled to have received this excellent award.”
The AA also recently visited the properties within the Nelson Hotels group. Following these assessments, the Grosvenor Pulford Hotel & Spa retained its four stars and AA Rossette. The Pheasant Inn, Burwardsley, and the Bear’s Paw in Warmingham both retained their five star inn quality rating along with their AA Rossette.
